Judiciary Update: Jack Wighton Found Guilty By Judiciary

[UPDATE 29 JULY 7:55PM] Jack Wighton has been found guilty by the NRL Judiciary and will serve a four-match suspension.


[UPDATE 29 JULY 7:35PM] Jack Wighton has been found guilty of a shoulder charge by the NRL Judiciary. The Club is now challenging the grading of the charge, aiming to have it reduced from a Grade Two.


[UPDATE 28 JULY] Jack Wighton has pleaded not guilty to a grade two shoulder charge and will head to the NRL Judiciary on Tuesday night.


Rabbitohs five-eighth, Jack Wighton, has been charged by the Match Review Committee following our round 21 match.

Wighton was cited for a Shoulder Charge – Grade 2 on Sharks forward Toby Rudolf in the 45th minute. He faces a three-match suspension with an early guilty plea or a four-match suspension if he contests the charge at the judiciary and is unsuccessful. If Wighton successfully beats the charge at the judiciary, he will be free to play in our round 22 clash against the Broncos.
